A chocolate festival for the whole family

The EuroBean Chocolate Festival 2022

Rochsburg. In summer, Rochsburg Castle will once again open its doors to all friends of the finest chocolate.

Whether a weekend getaway or a special vacation experience - from 05 to 07 August 2022, the 5th EuroBean Chocolate Festival is the perfect destination for a successful weekend. Main focus is mainly on high quality handmade chocolate, organic farming, bean-to-bar (from cocoa bean to finished bar) and fair trade.

Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day, guests will have a special chance to meet the chocolate makers in person, taste their creations and learn more about the origin and processing of cocoa.

A total of 21 international chocolate makers have confirmed their participation. In addition to the exhibitors who are now regulars, such as  Josef Zotter from Austria, Mãnoa Chocolate from faraway Hawaii or the UK-based manufactory Coco Caravan, this year some new top-class bean-to-bar manufactories from Norway, Italy and Iceland, among others, have announced their participation. Again with it is naturally also the chocolate manufactory with home advantage "Choco Del Sol", without which the EuroBean would not exist at all.

What families will particularly enjoy is the varied entertainment program for young and old. Chocolate rallies, treasure hunts, puppet shows and other exciting activities await the kids, while adults can indulge in delicious tastings, workshops and various performances.

On Saturday night, guests can also expect the legendary EuroBean Party, where they can shake their hips to the beat and enjoy a great concert.
