EuroBean is back – a new chapter begins in 2027

When we announced in May that the EuroBean Chocolate Festival would take a break in 2026, we didn't yet know exactly what would come next. We wanted to take our time. To reflect on the past years, develop new ideas and, above all, ask ourselves what EuroBean should look like in the future.

Now we can finally say: EuroBean is back. And 2027 is going to be a very special year.

Back at the Industriemuseum Chemnitz

From September 3–5, 2027, the EuroBean Chocolate Festival will return to the place where it has grown over the past years: the Industriemuseum Chemnitz.

Chocolate Makers from different countries, exceptional bean-to-bar chocolates, tastings, workshops and talks, our marketplace, great food and, above all, many encounters around cocoa and chocolate – all of this will once again be part of EuroBean. And, of course, we will preserve what matters most to us: direct contact with the Chocolate Makers, transparency about origin and production, fairness and sustainability, and a festival where great chocolate is not only something to buy, but something to discover and understand.

One important change for everyone who has known EuroBean for a while: we have a new date in 2027.

Instead of our usual weekend in early August, we will meet from September 3–5, 2027. Make sure to save the first weekend of September!

EuroBean is going on the road

But that's not all. When we announced our festival break, we mentioned an idea for the first time that, back then, really was no more than an idea: EuroBean on the Road.

Now it's becoming reality. At Pentecost 2027, EuroBean will go on the road for the very first time. Our destination is Bolzano/Bozen in South Tyrol, Italy – and we have found a rather special setting for it: Castel Mareccio / Schloss Maretsch. EuroBean on the Road will deliberately be smaller than our festival in Chemnitz: personal, carefully curated and with plenty of space for Chocolate Makers, tastings, conversations and encounters. Bolzano is our first test. If the concept works, EuroBean on the Road will continue its journey – to other special places in Europe and perhaps, one day, even beyond.

Two festivals. One EuroBean.

So in 2027, there will be two opportunities to experience EuroBean:
